Molori Safari Terms and Conditions

  1. Inclusions:  All meals, drinks and bush activities.
  2. Exclusions: Transfers, conservation fees, park entrance fees, cellar wines, spa treatments, items of a personal nature.
  3. The prize is valid for dates of travel within a year from 8 May in one of Molori’s Premier Suites
  4. The prize is not valid during peak season: Peak Season: 1 – 10 January; 1 – 17 April; 15 – 31 December
  5. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

Competition Rules

  1. The grand prize is a 2 night stay for 2 people (in shared accommodation) at Molori Safari, South Africa’s uber-chic, luxurious lodge, valued at R83 200.
  2. 1965Ride 2023 cyclists and their immediate family members, as well as EEF Board members, may not participate in any way in the competition.
  3. 1965Ride 2023 cyclists are not allowed to participate in any way in the answering of questions during the semi-final and final rounds.
  4. A maximum of 1965 tickets will be sold.
  5. Cost per ticket payable via Quicket is R1000 and tickets are only available for purchase via Quicket.
  6. When purchasing your ticket/s, ensure your reference is ‘Molori+YourSurname’ so that we can trace you to invite you to the semi-finals and finals of the competition, if applicable.
  7. The competition will run from Wednesday 29 March until Thursday 27 April 2023. No tickets will be sold after midnight on 27 April 2023.
  8. Every 99th ticket sold will qualify to be in the semi-finals of the competition resulting in a total of 20 semi-finalists.
  9. The semi-finalist’s names will be announced on Saturday 29 April.
  10. The questions for the semi-finalists will be emailed to them on Monday 1 May and they will have 24 hours to respond to the competition organisers, via email, with their answers.
  11. The 5 semi-finalists with the most correct answers to the questions mentioned in point 10 will go through to the finals of the competition.
  12. Questions will be based on Molori Safari Lodge and the 1965Ride.
  13. The top 5 finalists will have to answer additional questions, also based on the 1965Ride and Molori Safari Lodge.
  14. The final adjudication will take place either virtually (on Zoom) or at a venue in Johannesburg (to be confirmed). The date of the final is Saturday 6th May 2023. The finalists must be present at the final (either via Zoom or in person) to be considered for the grand prize.
  15. The finalist who correctly answers the greatest number of questions will win the grand prize.
  16. The decisions of the adjudication panel are final.
